Public workshop and art exhibition 22-24 August 2021
The University of Stavanger are pleased to invite to the biannual Energy Anthropology Network workshop on the theme of digitisation and low-carbon transitions during 22-24 August 2021, at The Norwegian Petroleum Museum in Stavanger.
Art exhibition
The Just Mobility Transitions Network (JUSTMOBNET) launches an art exhibition by the Rjukan Solarpunk Academy on the Norwegian Bus Users‘ Association!
14:00-16:00, 22 August 2021: Exhibition launch with artists – Margrethe Brekke and Martin Andersen from the Rjukan Solarpunkt Academy.
Workshop
The workshop features paper presentations by numerous authors, two keynote addresses, an art exhibition, a roundtable and a panel discussion. It is open to the public. Programme highlights:

15:30-17:00, 23 August 2021: Artist tour of the exhibition ‘Just mobility transitions: Imaginaries of the Norwegian Bus Users’ Association’ – Margrethe Brekke and Karin Coenen
19:00-20:30, 23 August 2021: Just Mobility Transitions Network Roundtable: Just mobility transitions for Norwegian cities – Espen Henriksen, Daniele Müller-Eie, Lars Coenen, Håvard Haarstad and Endre Elvestad
9:00-10:30, 24 August 2021: Keynote II: Mobility justice and transitions to urban electric vehicles – Thomas Birtchnell, Theresa Harada and Gordon Waitt
13:30-14:30, 24 August 2021: Panel discussion on engaging action with the ‘Responsive Organising for Low Emission Societies’ (ROLES) project – Adrian Smith, Sonia Gantioler and Siddharth Sareen
