Happy Holidays and a huge THANK YOU for an incredible year – it’s been a formative one for us here at CAS, and has encompassed many changes and accomplishments. We’re proud to have featured 40 articles, reviews, and interviews by 28 writers, artists, and curators.
As 2015 comes to a close, we spotlight some of the our favorite articles from the last year including an essay focusing on Bill Viola’s artwork Tristan’s Ascension, a treatise on feminism and design, a conversation with Elin Melberg and Lars Morell, interviews with artists Aurora Passero and Pedro Gomez-Egaña, a transcribed lecture exploring the influence of Japanese aesthetics in the artwork of Frida Hansen, and a review of Stavanger-based artist Tove Kommedals exhibition dEFINISJONSMAKT / OG.
This year again, the creative community has shown extraordinary support and generosity to CAS. Thank you for making CAS possible, and we are excited to continue to provide critical discourse on the arts in relation to Stavanger in 2016!
